Licensing

Would you like to see Colleen's artwork on your products?

Let's Collaborate!

Licensing is like renting Colleen's work to be able to print on your products for a particular length of time. Why license from an artist? Art sells products! ...and it brings joy into the lives of your consumers.

Colleen is open to "non-exclusive" and "exclusive" licensing of her surface patterns and other artwork. What is the difference?

Non-exclusive licensing allows companies to use Colleen's artwork on products that we agree upon for a particular period of time while still allowing Colleen to license the same artwork to other companies regardless of industry and sell the artwork herself on sites such as Spoonflower.

Exclusive licensing includes negotiating terms of the contract to restrict the industries (like fabric, stationery, wallpaper, children's clothes, etc.) and geographic regions (such as within your state or country) where Colleen can continue to license the same art to other companies. This may or may not include allowing Colleen to continue selling on sites like Spoonflower. At the end of the agreed contract term, exclusive licensors have the option of renewing their licenses before the work is offered to other companies. Because all of this limits Colleen's revenue from any particular piece, it is more expensive to license this way.

In all licensing situations, Colleen and/or Inventus Art LLC retains the copyright for the work. Color changes may also be available upon request.

Colleen's curated catalogues of surface pattern designs are linked to the images below. More designs are visibleon products in her online store and Spoonflower shop. If you are interested in licensing one of her illustrations, designs, or collections, please use this contact form or the contact information available in her catalogues below to start the conversation.

Thank you,
