June 2025 Updates

Family day trip to Governor Dodge State Park caves trail

Pinecone illustrations and trailing vines sketch change into new patterns

Summer fun has started into full swing. My family and I have been taking advantage of the mild late spring/early summer weather to spend time hiking, fishing, and spelunking together. I’d love to share some of my recent projects, inspirations, and upcoming events with you.

This spring was busy with finishing school work and the Immersion Course for surface pattern design. I ended up completing the course with 3 full pattern collections and my certification badge. The designs are slowly being uploaded into my Spoonflower shop for purchase on wallpaper, home goods, and a wide variety of fabrics by the yard. I have also been refining my first portfolio to eventually pitch these collections to companies that may want to license them from me. I am thinking of pitching the Pacific Journey and Coral Reef collections to craft/quilt fabric and children’s clothing companies first but am open to considering other industries (stationary, home decor, etc). I feel the pressure to do so especially because nautical themes are “trending” in some industries right now. The idea of pitching my work is very intimidating to me since it is something completely new, so I’d appreciate your prayers!

I have created some new products and have been working on improving the product photography on my website listings. I am also trying to include all of my in-person sale products on my website. New card themes are: Our Lady of Guadalupe, Easter, Mom/Mother’s Day, 4th of July, Dad/Father’s Day, and Baptism (pictures to come on Facebook/Instagram soon). The colors for the Baptism card are still being finalized, but a mini collection of Baptism patterns will also be available on Spoonflower. I have some new Sunflower and Our Lady of Guadalupe themed tote bags that I would love for you to see. “God Bless America” magnets, “Trail Spice” dot grid nature/everyday journals, and handmade watercolor notebooks are also coming soon to online and in-person sales. I will be attempting to open an Etsy store (called “Faith and Field Studio”) to sell inventory and increase traffic to my website.

I am happy to announce that my Our Lady of Guadalupe card designs and stickers are now available at the Flores Mariae Gift Shop at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, WI. I intend to continue to expand my offerings of religious card designs and ask Catholic gift shops if they would like to purchase them for wholesale. Please let me know if you know of any nice gift shops where you think they might be a good fit!

Inventus Art is also taking orders for custom wholesale stickers for small businesses. My price guide is posted below. Feel free to share this with anyone you think would be interested.

Upcoming sales - I will be at all of the Lancaster Night Markets this summer. The remaining Lancaster Night Markets are on Tuesday, July 8 and Tuesday, August 12 from 5PM-8PM. There is live music and a variety of food available at each market if you’d like to take an evening out and visit me there. There is also the potential that I may attend some of the Boscobel Farmer’s Markets as I am able (the markets are every Saturday morning), but I am not yet sure if I will make it there or when. If you are local and would like to shop my products online but pickup in person, you can email me to let me know.

Coupon Code for Summer 2025 is: IASUMMER25 and will get you 10% off your purchase of $25 or more of cards, stickers, journals, bags, hiking accessories, and art prints from now through the end of July.

God Bless You and Your Family!
